Unexpected Find....Uk

Just a little something stumbled upon while out and about..wet damp and deep underground ,just how i like it...

There is a fairly large amount of info about the area these tunnels are situated and some on the tunnels themselves on various history forums along with a few old pics from a visit in the 1980's.

This was something myself Obscurity and The Wickerman spotted a few pics of and had to go and find,it is in pretty good condition other than the water ingress and the very rotten steps..Wont be putting ant history on the place up but it really isnt hard to find..Posting this to my blog now as it seems access is no longer possible!

Please excuse what blogger has done to the pictures they really are not that bright and blown out on my pc monitor before i uploaded them!
