The hospital finally closed its doors in 2010 towards the end of the year and had been gradually closing since 2007 after apparantly being bought by a developer in 2005 for 170 million.
The hospital had a long history starting off life as the infirmary of a workhouse which opened in wood street in 1837..
Most eventfull thing of the day was a si went to lob an emty can out the window i managed to chuck me lighter..security where at the main access so after a drive to park up a quick look and they had gone one of us spotted out of an upstairs window the same car drive by within the grounds,but apart from that no trouble..
